- Our customers know best. Our thoughts on our experience and competence are biased. Please, we encourage you to contact our references or any of our customers at anytime. We have long-term perspectives, and serve our customers as if we were servicing our own company. This perspective means we don’t take short-term actions that harm the relationship for short-term gain. Thus, we welcome and encourage you to judge us not by our definitions of experience and competence, but rather by that of our customers.
- We are professionals who have chosen to do IT for a living. Most of our team has degrees or are seeking degrees from MTU in programs such as Computer Networking and Systems Administration (CNSA), Information Systems (IS, previously MIS), or Computer Science (CS). We hire and train people who understand customer service, can communicate, really like working with technology and people, manage projects well, and understand the importance of developing both soft and hard skills. We believe in people first, process second, and technology last. A great system without great people and great processes will fail. This means we don’t believe in starting with the solution. We believe in starting with the people who will be affected by the system, then defining the best process possible, and, finally, exploring options for the technology solution. After implementing a solution, the work still continues with training and ensuring success.
- If we cannot solve a problem or solve it as efficiently as someone else would, we inform you. We don’t do door alarm systems, we don’t pretend to know how to configure every piece of software, and we don’t service large multifunction business devices. However, we know people who do all of these things. We’ve overseen and worked with external local and national consultants for our customers.
